I am fitness conscious and have been trying to follow a proper fitness and diet routine. My Windows Phone has been very helpful for tracking my workout progress.
In August 2011, I installed Runkeeper App on my Windows Phone and used it whenever I went for my daily walk. It helped me track my progress along with additional information of calories burnt with the activity. Sometime back I noticed that Runkeeper App will show me my walking distance and other info, but it won't sync the same with the cloud. Initially it looked like a network connectivity problem, but suddenly one day the app stopped working on my Windows Phone. I searched for it in windows phone marketplace but could not locate it. I searched online and found this article by Matthew which shows how Runkeeper has dropped Windows Phone support. I totally respect the decision of Runkeeper team to do so, but I think they should have sent me an email in advance telling me about it. Anyways, Matthew's article gives detail about the alternative apps to track your fitness.
I installed Endomondo App for fitness. I instantly fell in love with this app and was wondering why didn't I use this in first place :) it allows me to control my music playback from the app itself when I go for a walk, like Runkeeper it allows me to switch to map view during my walk. Best feature I like about this app is that it gives me voice notification on each lap completion, which helps me keep on track. You can also share selected workouts on your Facebook account.
Endomondo App is also available on Google Play, Apple App Store and BlackBerry App World.
I definitely recommend this app to all Windows Phone users.
